What you´ll do
- Support the deployment of a standard edge connectivity solution within Henkel by developing and building up connectivity flow
- Build up an IoT Factory Demonstrator, including PLC and edge device configuration and transmission of data to a cloud endpoint
- Provide support for additional IoT projects during project execution on demand
- Conduct market research and analysis to support product management decisions for HW and SW
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of project and product documentation, including operation manuals and security documentation
- Prepare presentations and reports for projects and meetings
What makes you a good fit
- Enrolled in a Master’s program in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation, IoT, Computer Science or a related field
- First experience in software implementation on edge devices and familiarity with cloud connectivity via MQTT
- Very good written and spoken English language skills, German language skills are benefical
- Familiar with PLC programming such as Siemens and first experience with workflow tools such as Node-RED
- Hands-on experience with I/O-Link and serial based sensors and industrial protocols e. g., Modbus, OPC UA, I/O Link
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Open-minded, flexible, and pro-active personality with a strong team player mindset
- Availability for a full‑time internship in Düsseldorf starting [Month Year] for a duration of up to six months

We offer you an attractive salary between € 1.050-2.270. The exact amount of the remuneration depends on the desired duration, the type of internship (voluntary or mandatory) and existing degrees.
