About this Position

We’re looking for a results-driven, people-focused General Manager to lead Henkel’s Hair Professional business. 

Sweden is our largest market in the region, with strong potential for both commercial growth and team development. This is a critical leadership role with full accountability for business performance, strategic direction and team culture.

The successful candidate will be expected to drive commercial results while leading a cross-functional team through a period of renewed focus and opportunity

What you´ll do

  • Full P&L ownership and strategic business leadership 
  • Lead and develop the local team across sales, marketing, education, and operations
  • Translate strategy into execution to deliver on growth, profitability, market share, and budget targets
  • Set clear direction and deliver against KPIs: revenue, profit, budget, and market growth
  • Build strong, trust-based relationships with key customers and external partners
  • Grow our brand portfolio across both professional and non-professional channels 
  • Drive operational excellence and embed clear, effective ways of working
  • Align closely with regional and global stakeholders to ensure consistency and collaboration
  • Inspire and develop teams, fostering a culture of clarity, accountability, and empowerment
  • Provide strong people leadership with visible presence, structure, and regular feedback

What makes you a good fit

  • Proven senior leadership experience (e.g., GM, Country Manager, Head of Business Unit or similar), with full commercial accountability
  • Strong background in FMCG, beauty, retail, or the professional B2B channel
  • Demonstrated success in leading teams through change and delivering sustainable growth
  • Solid understanding of the Swedish market; experience in Denmark is a plus
  • Comfortable working within a matrix organisation and across multiple functions
  • Experience in premium beauty or selective retail channels is an advantage
  • Clear and engaging communicator able to build alignment, trust, and shared purpose
  • Based in Stockholm, with regular in-market presence and travel
