YOUR ROLE
- Support Asia-Pacific Indirect Material and Services (IMS) sourcing activities, especially in the areas of Capital Investments and Facility Management/Fleet categories.
- You will have the opportunity to conduct tenders from-end-to-end.
- Screen the market, engage stakeholders and suppliers to steer sourcing projects (align requirement, project plan, negotiation strategy with bid analysis etc.) leading to cost reduction, value creation, optimal timeline/quality and risk mitigation.
- Ensure and support compliant source-to-pay process with clear documentation and in line with global/regional policies and sourcing tools
- Join us for an exciting internship from Jan 2025 to June 2025
YOUR SKILLS
- Prior working or internship experience, preferably in sourcing, engineering or analytics-related roles, is an advantage
- Degree related to Supply Chain, Purchasing, Engineering or Sustainability preferably but not mandatory
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications especially Excel (IF Function, Pivot Table, Vlookup) and PowerPoint
- Independent and self-driven with strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills with excellent verbal and written proficiency in English
- Mandarin language skills will be advantageous
- Strong project and time management skills
- Team player attitude
- Knowledge of purchasing and contract management practices would be advantageous
