  • This Purchasing Internship specifically deals with Raw Material (Waterborne Acrylics).
  • Create and manage a database for acrylic dispersions, gathering information on suppliers, product specifications, pricing, and availability.
  • Leverage global knowledge on applications and chemistry by collaborating with teams and sharing insights across regions. (prior knowledge in chemistry is not required)
  • Align with Product Development Managers to identify and assess potential new suppliers, ensuring they meet technical requirements and contribute to strategic sourcing.
  • Conduct cost analysis, support negotiations, and stay informed on market trends to bring down global acrylic dispersion pricing.
  • Prepare and present regular reports to the Global Category Team Manager, tracking performance metrics and providing strategic recommendations


  • University degree in Business Administration with Purchasing background or related studies
  • Passion for purchasing
  • Excellent presentation skills, high assertiveness and ability to establish trustful relationships across multiple functions and to leadership
  • Ability to work on various tasks in parallel
  • Firm experience with MS-Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent English (written, oral)
  • True team player: team results matter more than an individual agenda
  • Available to start from August 1st 2024 for 6 months full-time
