YOUR ROLE

  • Leads overall BU and has project management responsibility for medium to large acquisition, divestment and strategic projects; Screens new acquisition opportunities, analyzes key business drivers, prepares strategic rationale and business plans for approval
  • Jointly with Corporate M&A team runs the due diligence process to identify synergy potential and key risks; Jointly with Legal and Corporate M&A team supports negotiation processes and finalization of contracts
  • Pro-actively supports post-merger integration and drives initiatives with different workstreams and senior business leaders
  • Supports senior management with ad-hoc reports, analysis and critical topics; Conducts analysis of own portfolio performance, competitor performance, market shares and sectoral trends
  • Acts as counterpart of external advisors, strategy consultants and investment banks; Supports strategic projects within the Business Unit

YOUR SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, Chemistry or other related field is required and Master’s degree is a plus
  • Minimum of ten (10) years working experience in Sales, Marketing, Business Development or related field is required; Minimum of three (3) years' experience as a people manager is required
  • Chemical, semiconductor, consumer device or related industry experience is required
  • Experience in mergers & acquisitions, project planning and/or (new) business development are required; Strategic partnership, strategic planning and/or project planning skills are required
  • Mindset of focusing on revenue growth and due diligence are required
  • Able to go business trips aboard and/or countrywide
